In the summer, royal blue gingham dresses may be worn. These are standard dresses available from many stores in Newbury and Reading, e.g. Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's. Grey school shorts may be worn in the Summer also.
All children should wear strong, comfortable school shoes to school (no boots). At lunchtime all children are allowed to play on the field and should bring a spare pair of trainers to change into. In bad weather they will also need a change of clothing separate from their PE kit as they may get very muddy, if they choose to play football or another sport on the field! Clean trainers should be available every day to change into for physical education.
High standards of appearance and grooming are expected. We do not discriminate against any pupil by virtue of their protected characteristics.
Jewellery, make-up, hair-gel, nail varnish and earrings are not acceptable. If a watch is worn to school, it is the responsibility of your child.
ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING SHOULD BE NAMED.
